Képaláírás: State of Mária Terézia (Maria Theresa ). Queen of Hungary, modelled by Fadrusz János (John Fadrusz), the gifted Hungarian sculptor. The statue was originally set up in Pozsony (now called Bratislava), former Capital and coronation city of Hungary. Though not possessing the lightest right to the city, the Czechs hastened to humiliate it, and broke to pieces its finest ornament. We have succeeded in saving a few of the fragments, which we are preserving as precious relics.

A pozsonyi magyarok több töredéket is megőriztek, állítólag ma is vannak kertek (például a Hegyiligetben), ahol egy-egy ilyen márványdarab megtalálható. A két nemes fejét egy budapesti letétben őrzik. ..."
